Before You Vote: Thoughts From Chuck McDonald Local 2195
Long-time members, Union Sisters/Brothers: Today the mailing of ballots will begin for the positions of UAW International President and Vice President, I plead to you and your better judgment. We need to vote for:
President, Ray Curry and Vice President, Chuck Browning. Their honesty, integrity, and experience, as well as their dedication to doing the right thing for our members both (Active and Retired), have been tested and proven to be 100% dedicated and committed to being in the best interest of all UAW members. Their actions have been highly respected and noted as outstanding Trade-unionist by all organized labor.
Both Brothers Curry and Browning are part of the cure and most definitely not part of the problems as their inexperienced opposition candidates have attempted to claim.
More and more the UAW members are finding out the truth about Presidential candidate Shawn Fain, very little bargaining experience, he never held an Executive Board position in his Local Union or the International Union. His experience is limited to skilled trades committeeman in a small casting plant in Indiana. He was appointed by Vice President Holifield to work in the Chrysler Training Center. Shawn Fain had many opportunities to raise issues regarding the excessive and abusive spending practices carried on by Vice-President Holifield, however, he remained silent. Brother Fain even participated in some of the illegal activities at which Holified was criminally charged and found guilty. Holifield died before going to prison and Brother Fain spoke at his funeral. Vice-President Holiefield wife was also found guilty and did jail time.
Those that know me; I like people to run on their own merits however when you can't run on your own merits you have to run a campaign where you attempt to make up enough crap about your opposition and keep throwing it in a fan with the hopes that some of it sticks and becomes believable. The truth is out and the campaign Brother Fain is engaged in is shameful and disrespectful to the other candidates and our membership.
Candidate: Shawn Fain is part of the problem, not the cure.
Below is a leaflet that one local Union put together and passed out at their plant it gives some details you may be interested in about those that were elected in the first round of voting, they are out of the same local union and should the members choose Fain potentially all five top officers elected to the I.E.B. would be out Chrysler-Fiat-Stellantis. You may know Fait took over ownership of Chrysler after their 2nd bankruptcy it is now Stellantis.
I have always reached for the truth and I present it to you the best I can. I hope you accept my recommendation for one personal reason, my love, and devoted interest in having the best possible Union the UAW. In Solidarity, I hope we get the results we need for the benefit of our great Union.

This post came from another Local Union worth reading:
We just elected 3 top positions in the IEB ALL from UAW Chrysler ALL from the same Local 961. They have very little experience other than some local items, no negotiations experience. GM, Ford and the rest of the UAW need skilled negotiators from other UAW Locals, other than Chrysler. Margaret Mock won the position of Secretary Treasurer. This is the 2nd most important position in our Union. Mrs. Mock hired into CHRYLSER's Maryville Axle with UAW Local 961 (737 members). She did hold several small positions; however, when the plant closed, she transferred to CHRYSLER'S Warren Truck Plant. She never returned to an elected position in her new local.
Mike Booth won a position as Vice President. Mr. Booth hired into CHRYLSER'S Maryville Axle with UAW Local 951(737 members). He did hold several small positions; however, when the plant closed, he transferred to CHRYSLER'S Sterling Heights Plant. He never returned to an elected position with his new local.
Rich Boyer also won a position as Vice President. Mr. Boyer was hired into CHRYLSER'S Maryville Axle with UAW Local 961 (737 members). When the plant closed, he transferred multiple times to different plants until finally staying at CHRYSLER'S Warren Truck Plant. For the past 5 years he has been serving as a District Committeeperson.
Members will still be voting for the position of President and the final position of Vice President.
Presidential Candidate Shawn Fain was hired into CHRYSLER'S Kokomo Casting Plant and served 5 terms as a District Committeeperson. For the past 10 years he has worked on the International Union's Staff. Mr. Fain was on the CHRYSLER National Negotiating Team during the concessionary agreements of 2009 and 2011. As he served on the International Staff, he worked alongside V.P. General Holiefield (wife sentenced to prison for 18 months), V. Norwood Jewell (sentenced to prison for 15 months), and V.P. Cindy Estrada. He is currently working on the International Staff as an Administrative Assistant over the Training Center. During his time as a UAW Representative Mr. Fain has delivered no significant wins for the membership but has campaigned to deliver the moon and stars with no proven track record of getting it done.
